Tranquil walks through the breathtaking countryside:

The Foxford Way. Offers 86km of marked path which surrounds the town of Foxford and passes by the mountains of OX, the marshes and archaeological sites. The western path of 170km takes you alongside the fjord of Killary harbour in the county of Galway, moving on to the OX mountains and then to the border of Sligo. This route steals part of the Great Excursion and includes some rather difficult pathways, however, the sights on offer are more than worth the endurance.

There are more walks to explore than pints of Guiness at an Irish wedding, well maybe not, but there are quite a few. Each one only re-enforcing the last with breathtaking views, beautiful countryside and eons of folk lore to keep you mentally fit as well as physically.
